Un printemps comme d’habitude, alors ? Disons plutôt : un printemps qui, comme d’habitude, change et innove… un nouveau lieu avec des concerts acoustiques dans le salon d’honneur de l’ancien hôtel de ville, avec vue sur la cathédrale. Et l’un des plus beaux plateaux de nouveautés avec les trente deux découvertes du printemps de bourges crédit mutuel, repérées parmi 3500 candidats par réseau printemps et son singulier maillage d’antennes reparties dans toute la France.
Alors, tous les jours, surprises et événements dans tous les genres et toutes les esthétiques. Les énormes reggae-groove’n’beat party le vendredi (Tinariwen, Ky-Mani Marley, Zebda, Danakil…) et rock’n’beat party le samedi (Birdy Nam Nam, Yuksek, Skip the Use, The Rapture…) au Phénix et au Palais d’Auron, tous les jours des grands noms du moment (Dionysos, Shaka Ponk, Bénabar, Camille, Brigitte, Izia, Daniel Darc, Charlie Winston, La Grande Sophie…) et des nouveaux artistes pointus (King Krule, Dominique Young Unique, Bernhoft…), Dominique A qui vient rejouer La Fossette, son premier album, Oxmo Puccino en trio acoustique, la pop française classieuse (Revolver, Barbara Carlotti, Alex Beaupain…), une soirée rap français et encore beaucoup d’autres…
Avec A Walk for Lhasa, création donnée trois fois au théâtre Jacques Coeur, notre festival se souvient aussi d’un ange qui l’avait émerveillé ; Arthur H, L, Emily Loizeau, Patrick Watson, Sonia Wieder-Atherton, The Barr Brothers et Ayin, Miriam et Sky, ses trois soeurs artistes de cirque, rendent hommage à Lhasa De Sela, disparue il y a deux ans. Comme pour rappeler, encore une fois, qu’il y aura toujours un Printemps après l’hiver.
